Power Grid Civils were involved in the grid connection of Lenalea Windfarm, Ballybofey, County Donegal. The project consists of seven wind turbines, which when completed will generate enough low carbon renewable energy to power 20,000 Irish homes annually, contributing significantly to Irelands 2030 renewable energy targets. Our scope of works which were carried out on behalf of Omexom included access, new build tower foundations and wooden H poles.
