Our client Babcock have been asked by National Grid to divert the ZC OHL line. This is part of the enabling works for the HS2 Project. Power Grid Civils have been contracted to carry out temporary access works including bridge abutments to cross the river Colne in Denham Country Park and foundations for six new build towers. One of these towers require a permanent sheet piled retaining wall structure to be installed to stabilise the ground foundations.
UPDATE
Works recommenced in December 2021 to complete reinstatement works. Our scope of work entailed removal of temporary access roads, and piling platforms, installation of permanent fencing and reinstatement around the new constructed towers. Our teams will remobilise in September 2022 complete final reinstatement works.
