The Norfolk Offshore Windzone is the worlds largest coordinated offshore wind park, developed by Vattenfall with the capacity to provide 10% of the UKs domestic electricity. Our client Murphys are responsible for carrying the cables from offshore onto land.
There is over 1 million metres of ducting to be completed over 3 district councils, 100 landowners and 30 parish councils. Throughout these areas there are several access points which need completed. Power Grid Civils were awarded the bellmouth works across numerous locations on the project works commenced in August 2024
