Working on behalf of our valued client Northern Ireland Electricity Networks, we were tasked with carrying out foundation investigations within the Kilroot Power Station complex. The works carried out were to facilitate the connection of two new gas turbines within the existing indoor AIS substation. Trial pits were completed both inside and outside of the building as well as two cable percussion boreholes outside for the Principal Designer, Mott MacDonald.
